Our well equipped workshop is capable of custom machining and milling to your exact requirements; from precision machining and turning through to heavy industrial components, all work is of the highest possible quality. We offer turnkey services comprising multiple CNC lathes and milling machines (up to 5 metres) as well as general machining and milling including: tapping, drilling, threading, grinding, gear cutting, part hardening, precision fitting and assembly. All machining and fitting work is fully production and quality tested.
Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacture & Repairs
OMG Engineering can manufacture and rebuild hydraulic cylinders and components to specific OEM and/or industry standards, or we can deliver your custom cylinder project . Our affordable and comprehensive repair service that includes; diagnosis, stripping and cleaning, resealing, honing, rod straightening and testing, means you will never need to go anywhere else.
We specialise in hydraulic cylinders for a wide range of equipment and industries. We’re committed to producing cylinders as quickly as possible with longest service life, the least number of failures or breakdowns.
Engineering & Drafting
We absolutely love working with our customers to help interpret their needs, guiding them from the initial concept stage through to production and ultimate delivery. We’ll partner with you through the entire process starting with engineered design and detailed drawings in the latest version of SolidWorks and Mastercam, helping to ensure a smooth manufacturing phase free from error and rework.
Combined with our fabrication, welding, machining and fitting capability, our engineering expertise (including in house mechanical drafting and modelling) means that OMG Engineering is truly your only one-stop workshop.
Pinch Free Truck Access Ladder
OMG Engineering’s innovative approach to engineering solutions is on display in its (patent pending) integrated pinch free truck access ladder system. The completely pinch and crush point free ladder is designed to eliminate the types of crush and manual handling injuries that plague other truck ladders. Free space around all components meets BHP regulations, making the system mine site compliant to the highest standard.
The ladder features a fully enclosed 4 radial clutch, allowing for a smooth, controlled and effortless deployment. The generous landing platform and self closing gate makes it easy and safe to carry small loads up the ladder onto the truck bed. A built in sensor alerts the driver with an in cab indicator if the ladder is more than 20 degrees from its vertical storage axis.

Truck Modifications

Radial Clutch
Designed and patented (pending) by OMG Engineering, our innovative radial clutch is a key component used in our pinch free truck ladder access system. The clutch system is fully enclosed and may be used in a wide range of commercial applications where stored energy, a fall from height or manual handling risks are present.
Using friction, the clutch system can be used to control the descent of ladders or barricades on a mounted surface (like a truck bed), container (e.g. toolbox) lids and much more. A discreet and self contained device, the radial clutch can be the perfect alternative to existing products and technologies, offering superior safety and ergonomic features.
