OMG Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Fitter/Machinist to join our team in Maddington, Western Australia.
This is a full-time workshop role for someone with strong machining and fitting experience, a solid trade background, and the ability to produce quality work in a busy engineering environment. You’ll be working with CNC machinery in our modern in-house workshop, supporting engineering work for heavy industry.
With design, manufacture and testing carried out under one roof, our team works closely across the full delivery process. That means practical work, varied jobs, and a workshop environment where quality, safety and getting the job done properly matter.
About the role
You’ll be carrying out CNC machining and fitting work across a range of engineering jobs, working from drawings and job requirements to produce accurate, reliable work.
This role suits someone who takes pride in their trade, works well in a team, and can take ownership of their work from setup through to completion.
You’ll have
- Certificate III in Engineering, or a relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Fitter/Machinist
- Strong experience operating CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and job requirements
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong safety focus
- Ability to work well in a team and take ownership of your work
- Okuma experience preferred
- Full Australian working rights
